I've been sailing Merlin's since the nationals in 1993 and I've been making Merlin Sails since 1994... this is a boat close to my heart and a class that i am proud to be involved with. See you all at Salcombe Open if not before!

2012 is going to be a great year for Merlin sailors, with more choice, lower prices and fast new shapes available! We use the latest in design software to produce precision perfect sails so you use exactly what we use!

We're delighted to have lots of Merlin's sporting new faster sails and we hope to see many more over this season. We have fast new design shapes in play for this season. Our Mainsail and Jib shapes are giving more power, without sacrificing the height we gained last year and our new Spinnaker shape is also giving more downwind pace and increasing tactical options.

Fast classic Merlin sails

We have new cloths on offer for 2011. Including ODL04 a black weave cloth from Dimension Polyant. This is a lightweight cloth for the performance focused competitor.

We also have a new MAXX cloth on offer. This new MAXX cloth has proved extremely fast and hardwearing over our winter testing period at Chichester Snowflake Series. This lightweight cloth from ‘Contender Sailcloth’ has been designed specifically to conquer the performance to weight issue. It has the added advantage of outright durability and longevity.

We don't hand-cut our sails, instead we have invested in top of the range design software that allows us to produce the same design to the millimeter! Sail panels are computer cut by professionals and this means you can be sure you're using exactly what we are!

Sails are built in our sail loft in Emsworth, to my precision standards.
