Since using my new sails ‘Luka’ seems to be unstoppable. Last Sunday I had a 14 stone crew in the front of the boat and still lapped everyone! Whatever happens don’t loose the magic pattern of the main you made for me since it is super fast! I sailed in the first Solo Open of the season at Broadwater SC, and managed to finish 2nd overall. Boatspeed was great, pointing high and fast upwind using plenty of mainsheet tension. Downwind good speed too, so very pleased with the sail.. We noticed the extra speed our dynamic sails gave us immediately, they were ultra responsive and easy to trim. We have also had coaching sessions with Dave and Rachel. They were both encouraging, patient and knowledgeable, from rig tuning to three sail gybing the sessions were tailor made for our specific requirements. The Dynamic Merlin Jib we used in Salcombe had the nicest shape I've ever seen, it was fast and a pleasure to use!!!! |
